Redlining
Real-time GIS redlining, an important feature of Mobile GIS, gives field workers the ability to make sketches or diagram changes on top of a digital map, eliminating the traditional manual process of physical map redlining. Digital map field edits are sent to the data administrator and once approved are easily synchronized with the main GIS database. Digital redlining eliminates data backlogs that contribute to poor field data and ensures all field workers have the same information, helping to improve safety and productivity.
